I did this once and it turned out horrible, here is a top 5 list of why NOT to do it:
5. The people who did mine weren't real sharp on HTML, when I started looking at the list they sent me most of my links were broken making them useless.
4. The list they sent me had the name and password of every site they had posted the article to so I could verify it?! WTF?! In other words I could login their account and not only see/edit my articles but EVERY article they had posted for other people. So what would stop the next guy who hires them from deleting my article??
3. Google is getting smarter and smarter.. you don't get any "link juice" from those article submission sites anymore. Not only do the sites stick a "no-follow" after your link (basically telling google its spammy) but I'm sure google disregards them just because of the sheer number of links coming from the site.
2. No one actually reads those articles so you aren't increasing traffic that way.
1. YOU ARE SUPPORTING SPAMMERS!! Yeah, I HATE spammers and that is really all those people are. You pay them and they spam your article for you. That makes them (and you for paying them) just as bad as the boots and wedding gown guy.. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about, if you have a site with a blog you have to delete him once a week.
