I have installed Dolphin over 100 hundred times and in my adventures I have run into several hosts that HATE Dolphin... so let me share my wisdom:

1. Dolphin on Godaddy? - Well if you want to get right down to it Godaddy hates EVERYTHING that isn't plain HTML. They have a million accounts per server and they don't want you running something that will slow down their network. There is a reason they are the cheapest, because you get what you pay for!

2. Dolphin on StartLogic? - Even if StartLogic DID have the specs to run Dolphin why would you want to? Their servers are so sloooooow it is like pouring molases out of a cold jar.  Besides the speed issue they don't support ffmpeg.exe so no videos :-(

3. Dolphin on IX webhosting? - They DO support ffmpeg but it takes two weeks for them to set you up so you can access it. That's right, they won't let you run your own... they have to install it on the server you're on.  PLUS they are another slooooooow server company... Dolphin is slow enough on a FAST server, but it on one of these turds and you will fall asleep waiting for your homepage to load.

4. Dolphin on Lunarpages? - Same thing as IX, you have to REQUEST to be put on a server that is running ffmpeg??

All is all, Hostmonster is the best hosting company I have found for Boonex's Dolphin. It supports everything and they are FAST!
