Hey everyone,

From many people I have heard that Ray causes your site to slow down and if the Ray server is down, it causes your site to stuff up. This would be terribly bad if you had a few thousand members on your site wanting to use it, they might even give up on it if they see that it is not working.

So, does anyone know of anything out there that can replace Ray? Similarly, I found another person asking the same thing on another site, but can't remember what site it was from.

He wrote:

ALL of the ray widgets need to be replaced with an open source version."

So...does anybody know of anything that can replace Ray?

Yea, I think it might be a module or something else. Try searching around for it.

The admin hasn't been on this site for aaaaaages, he would be able to help you but he hasn't been on.
